Growing up better with primitive reflexes

Is my child concerned?

Some typical symtoms...

lack of coordination

concentration / focus issues

reading / writing difficulties

lack of motivation

postural issues

motion sickness

bed-wetting

chewing, need to suck

Stress, lack of serenity, excessive emotions

Does it ring a bell? What if the source of these weaknesses would lay in primitive reflexes?

I can be of help...

I offer primitive reflex diagnostic and integration sessions for children aged 4 and up.

Primitive reflexes are still (unfortunately) little known, but they are so useful, natural, and a logical explanation for many of the children issues.
Indeed, the difficulties your child experiences may stem from poor integration of certain reflexes that are fundamental to child development, but which your child must learn to master.

Still vague?

A typical example is the Babkin reflex. This reflex allows babies to systematically put objects they hold in their hands into their mouths. This is known as the hand-to-mouth reflex, and it is essential for the baby's survival because it allows them to systematically find their mouth with their hand and therefore feed themselves!
However, it is just as essential for babies to learn to control this reflex, i.e., to break this systematic link between the hand and the mouth, so that it becomes a deliberate action (rather than a reflex). This is known as integration.
In some cases, if the reflex persists, the child will have great difficulty writing or coordinating their hands, as their brain is still in reflex mode, thinking more about putting their pencil in their mouth than concentrating on writing beautiful letters!

So, what can be done?

It is fundamental to understand the origin of the problem, and to do so, I offer a comprehensive assessment of the main and most important primitive reflexes.

We discuss and plan together sessions to activate the reflexes at stake in your child to enable him to grow better.
